Tagged!

Kirsten tagged me. I don't mind being tagged, but I always have trepidation about tagging other people. I'm doing it anyhow, and hope for the best!
The Rules:1.You must share 7 facts about yourself on your blog, some random, some weird.2.You then tag 7 people (if you can) and at the end of the post you provide links to their blogs.3.Lastly, let them know they are being tagged.

1. I am not afraid of spiders. When I was a kid, I used to let little ones run around on my hands.
2. I saw the Dave Matthews Band the first time they ever played a gig publicly. It was in a small upstairs bar on "the corner" in Charlottesville, VA.
3. I used to be a telemarketer. Talk about a thankless job!
4. I hate the feeling of raw wood. Popsicle sticks give me the willies. I just shivered from even thinking about them.
5. I was a cheerleader in high school. Don't hold it against me.
6. I love playing board games. I am not competitive. I just enjoy it.
7. I can't stay in one place for long. After 3-4 years, I need a change of scenery and routine.

So, who do I tag? Jeanne, Lia, Toni, Pattie, Brenda, Cindy, and Nici. Please forgive me friends!

Amy - Thanks for being such a good sport! I feel the same way about tagging people - but it is very fun to read what your friends write. So cool about you seeing DMB in concert early on!

No prob girl. I like to answer them.
Here is my DMB story-
I was working in the mall, and my girlfriends who worked in another store told me that the son of the store owner was playing in a new band, and that they would be playing locally, so we should go out and support them. The son is Stephan Lessard. As it turned out, I knew Carter Beaufort (drummer) from some other forays into the music scene. He used to stop in and see me at my job, and get me in huge trouble by giving me a smooch in the middle of the store. I saw them play every Tuesday night at a bar called Trax for however long they were doing Tuesdays there. Oh, and my friend Dee, asked Dave out on a date, and they went. So, that is my big brush with fame story.

You've been tagged.

No, I cannot be tagged again. I can't come up with 5 more things or 5 more people to tag.

That DMB story is great! My only cool music stories are: I saw Nirvana before they made it big (then again, so did every other Seattle resident) and one of the guys from Soundgarden came to my community orchestra concert and hung outside because he knew the clarinetist. Lame, I know.

And I'm with you on the popsicle sticks and moving. We're already looking to bust out of Winnipeg soon.
