I am very pleased that 2 of the ACEOs I listed on ebay sold. I'll relist the other 2, along with these 4.
The first and third cards pictured here feature a photograph of my Aunt Mary. She was very dear to me. She died of cancer when I was in college.
The following is a poem I wrote about sitting at the table in her kitchen.
Tribe
asphalt
linoleum
formica
Courtland Avenue.
coffee steam
cigarette smoke
morning sun
six faces
twelve breasts
five wombs
two mothers
four daughters
one cancer
too much power
the men stay out

Beautiful! Love the depth you've achieved. Your poem is really powerful and it spoke to me of the community of women. Glad you're blogging - I love to see everyone's work.
